There are 3 Nantucket Sound beaches just minutes away. Red River is the largest with the most parking. Cockle Cove Beach is smaller with limited parking and is a 15 minute walk away. Ridgevale Beach is a popular, family-friendly beach on Nantucket Sound known for its warm, calm waters and wide sandy shoreline. It’s especially loved for its tidal pools and small inlet creeks, where kids can safely splash, explore marine life, and play in shallow water.
Easy Access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail
The The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a scenic, paved multi-use path stretching about 25 miles through several Cape Cod towns, including South Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, and Wellfleet. It winds through forests, cranberry bogs, ponds, and salt marshes, offering a flat, easy route ideal for biking, walking, and rollerblading. With frequent access points and nearby beaches and shops, it’s one of the Cape’s most popular outdoor attractions.
